Questions

Straight Answers.

How much does structural steel cost?

Every job is priced on the steel required, the fabrication involved and how it has to be installed, so there is no honest flat rate. Send through your drawings or a description and you'll get a written quote with a description of works. It is not a cost breakdown.

Do I need engineering drawings before you can quote?

Not to start. If you have drawings, send them and we'll quote off them. If you don't, we can quote from a site measure and let you know what engineering sign-off your job will need.

How long does fabrication and installation take?

It depends on the scope and current workload, but you'll get a realistic timeframe with your quote.

Do you work on residential jobs, or only commercial?

Both. A single beam for a wall removal is as welcome as a full commercial frame, and both get the same process.

Can you do welding on site, or does the steel have to come to you?

Both. We have workshop and mobile welding, so where the work can't leave site, we come to you.

Do you supply the steel, or do I?

We can supply and fabricate, or work with steel you've already procured, whichever suits the job. Just tell us which one you require when you enquire.

Ask The Awkward Ones.

Most of what people actually want to know is specific to their job: the access, the sequence, whether the date is achievable, whether it is even worth doing in steel. That is a conversation, not an FAQ entry.

Questions about whether you are in range

We service all of Western Australia, so the answer to "are we too far?" is almost always no. The service-area pages set out the access and logistics that come with each part of it, and either way the useful thing is to send the address.
