Industrial
Access Platform & Walkway
A galvanised access platform with mesh decking and tubular handrails, plus a covered walkway frame, built into the working laneway between two industrial units.
What We Do
Platforms, walkways, plant frames, guarding and support steel for sites that cannot stop while we build. Fabricated in the shop to your drawings, then installed in the window you can give us.
The Work
Industrial steel gets treated differently to a beam in a house. It is climbed on, loaded, knocked by a forklift and washed down, and it has to be safe to stand on the day it goes in and years later. So it gets designed around access and maintenance, not just the load.
Fabrication happens in the workshop, which keeps the noise, the sparks and the grinding off your floor. See structural steel fabrication for how a job runs from drawing to delivery, and steel installation for the install itself.
How It Runs
The fabrication is the easy half. The hard half is getting it installed without stopping the line, blocking the only forklift route, or setting off a smoke detector in a bonded store. That gets planned before anything is cut.
Existing plant is never quite where the drawing says. We measure what is actually there before fabricating anything that has to bolt to it.

Cut, drilled, welded and fitted up in the workshop, so what arrives on your floor is parts that bolt together rather than a fabrication job in your aisle.
Galvanising, paint or bare steel depending on whether it is outside, in a wash-down area, or in a dry warehouse. Tell us which and we will quote it.
Nights, weekends or a planned shutdown if that is what it takes. See mining and shutdown work if the window is a hard one.
We walk the job with you before we leave, and provide welding and material documentation on request.
Who It's For
Access to something that is currently reached with a ladder, guarding that an audit has flagged, or steel that has been hit one too many times.
Frames and supports for new equipment, and modifications to existing plant steel when a machine is replaced with one that does not fit the old frame.
The industrial steel package on a warehouse or workshop fit-out, fabricated and installed to program.
We fabricate and install across Western Australia, metro and regional. See the areas we cover.
Proof
Our own photographs, on our own jobs. Each one describes what is in the picture and what work of that type takes.

Industrial
A billet ledge with hardened steel billets welded on as wear protection, keeping material moving through the chute. Fitted in a confined space with a torch for light.
Where
Industrial steel goes into sites that are already running, and in Perth that means the southern industrial belt through Welshpool and Henderson, the light-industrial estates up north around Osborne Park and Malaga, and the Kwinana strip. We fabricate in the workshop and install in the window your site can give us, here or out in regional WA.

Questions
That is what the planning is for. How the steel gets installed without stopping the line, blocking the forklift route or setting off a detector is worked out before anything is cut, and the install can run at night, on a weekend or inside a planned shutdown.
In the workshop, which keeps the noise, the sparks and the grinding off your floor. What arrives is parts that bolt together rather than a fabrication job in your aisle.
Yes. Existing plant is never quite where the drawing says, so anything that has to bolt to it is measured on site before it is fabricated.
Galvanising, paint or bare steel, depending on whether it lives outside, in a wash-down area or in a dry warehouse. Tell us which and we will quote it.

Next Step
Send the drawings or a few photos of where it has to go. You'll get a written quote with a description of works and a realistic timeframe.
